The eggs are ready to be cracked, the champagne is chilling and the reservations are mostly booked. It's three days before Mother's Day, one of busiest mornings of the year for many restaurants.

Not all eateries are full yet, though. The following Sacramento establishments still have openings for Mother's Day brunch at several time slots this Sunday, according to OpenTable. Prices and menu items are subject to change.

Zocalo (1801 Capitol Ave., 466 Howe Ave.)

Brunch menu highlights: scrambled eggs with house-ground chorizo ($12), jack cheese enchiladas con huevos ($13), chilaquiles ($11 + $2 with beef or chicken).

Taylor's Kitchen (2924 Freeport Blvd.)

Brunch menu highlights: Prix-fixe meal including pastries, quiche, fruit, sausage, breakfast potatoes and salad. $29 per person.

Seasons 52 (1689 Arden Way, Suite 1065)

Brunch menu highlights: braised beef short rib hash in red wine sauce ($14), smoked salmon flatbread with horseradish cream sauce ($14), shakshuka ($14)

Courtyard D'Oro (1107 Front St.)

Brunch menu highlights: Six-course meal including miniature masa flapjacks, farmer's market omelette with roasted green chili hollandaise, gorgonzola penne with vegetables and a dessert bar. Adult price is $50 including bottomless breakfast cocktails or coffee, kids 12 and under eat for $16.

Il Fornaio (400 Capitol Mall)

Brunch menu highlights: Buffet including a build-your-own-omlette station, a carving block and made-to-order pizzas. Adult price is $44 including a complimentary breakfast cocktail or coffee, kids 12 and under eat for $16.

The Diplomat (1117 11th St.)

Brunch menu highlights: creme brulee French toast, California vegetable Benedict, omelette with lobster and sharp white cheddar. Prices unlisted.
