If you missed this tour earlier this month, now is your chance to grab some mandarins before they’re all gone – and meet the farmers, too. Several mandarin growers open their orchards and farm stands to the public for a taste of this wonderful local citrus. See how mandarins grow while getting fruit direct from farmers. Most locations also offer crafts, mandarin-laced treats and fun activities to go with their fruit. For locations and directions, visit the website.

No experience necessary; public is welcome. Pruning demonstrations will be led by the society’s seasoned rosarians. Come learn how to make your roses bloom better in 2014, too! Bring pruning shears and gloves.
