U.S. Navy Blue Angels land at Mather Airport

The Navy flight demonstration squad, the Blue Angels, who are celebrating their 70th anniversary, flew to Sacramento on Monday, Feb. 22, 2016 to promote their participation in the California Capital Airshow on October 1 and 2.

The California Capital Airshow features the Blue Angels of the U.S. Navy as well as the U.S Army Golden Knights and jets from the U.S. and Canadian air forces, starting Friday, Sept. 30, with a block party and continuing through Sunday, Oct. 2, at Mather Airport. Gates open Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. with the air show starting at noon. $10-$30.californiacapitalairshow.com.
