Cabrillo Civic Club 5. A crab feed, which is held annually to raise funds for scholarships, will be March 7 at the Cabrillo Clubhouse, 4605 Karbet Way. Casa Garden Restaurant. A wine and lunch social at 11:30 a.m. March 3 will have a different winery offering samples from the one originally announced: Sentinel Oaks Vineyard and Cellars of Plymouth will pour the sips; Casa hors d’oeuvres will be served, with lunch following. On the menu will be braised beef with feta or Asian noodle salad with chicken and vegetables and strawberry margarita torte. The $24 lunch tab includes tax and gratuity. German Shepherd Rescue. The El Dorado County group will sponsor their third annual flapjack fundraiser from 8 to 10 a.m. Feb. 28 at Applebee’s in Cameron Park, 3281 Coach Lane. On the menu with the pancakes will be bacon, breakfast potatoes, coffee, juice and a fountain beverage. A silent auction and raffle are on the program. United Way Young Leaders Society. Brews & Brains is the theme for a trivia-night fundraiser from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at Yolo Brewing Company, 1520 Terminal St., West Sacramento. Along with trivia and beer, the event will feature food from Fusion Eatz, networking, music and more. Tickets are $20. Must be 21 or older to attend.
