Just when your kids had stopped obsessing over Elsa and Olaf ... “Frozen” is getting a movie sequel, Walt Disney Animation Studios announced Thursday.

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, who co-directed the 2013 animated mega-hit, will return for the sequel, the Disney press release said, adding that the movie’s release date and production details are “on ice for now.”

“Frozen” fans can make do for now with the animated short “Frozen Fever,” playing before the live-action film “Cinderella,” which opens Friday. “Frozen Fever” brings back the main characters from “Frozen,” including a flu-ridden Elsa, and adds hundreds of little snow men who emerge from Elsa’s nose every time she sneezes.

Gross, I know, but the 4-year-olds love that stuff.
