‘Careful man, there’s a beverage here.’ See ‘Big Lebowski’ screen outdoors this weekend

This triple-digit week hasn’t been the best for outdoor activities. But while the days have been dashboard-melting hot, the nights have been velvety warm, perfect for enjoying an alfresco movie. On Saturday, June 24, the Sacramento Outdoor Film Festival wraps up its tribute to the Coen Brothers with a screening of the cult-classic crime comedy “The Big Lebowski,” starring Jeff Bridges as “his dudeness.” Gates open at 6 p.m.; movie starts at 9. Food trucks and a beer-and-wine garden are planned. The screening, at Fremont Park (15th and Q streets), is free but you have to be 21 or older to attend.
