Another musical powerhouse is scheduled to appear at Golden 1 Center with the booking of dynamic singer, songwriter and dancer Bruno Mars.

With his soulful voice and dance moves reminiscent of the late, great James Brown, Mars has been especially visible recently, notably as the musical guest on “Saturday Night Live.”

He is promoting the release of his 24K Magic album with an immense European and American tour that encompasses more than 80 dates. Road warrior Mars kicks off his 24K Magic Tour in Antwerp, Belgium, on March 28 before heading to France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, the United Kingdom, Norway and other European countries.

When he returns to the United States, he first appears July 15 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Three days later, he is in Sacramento at the Golden 1 Center.

Tickets to the July 18 appearance at Golden 1 Center go on general sale Nov. 21.

Since opening, Golden 1 Center has been the site of Paul McCartney and Jimmy Buffett concerts. Also scheduled to appear in the coming months are Kanye West, Stevie Nicks, Bon Jovi, Ariana Grande, Roger Waters and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.
