Sacramento earned it: The Weeknd will perform at Golden 1 Center this fall.

The multi-platinum Canadian R&B singer announced a second phase of his “Starboy: Legend of the Fall” world tour that includes a stop at the Golden 1 Center on October 11. Gucci Mane and Nav are scheduled to appear as guests.

The arena confirmed the date Tuesday, adding to its extensive 2017 concert lineup. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 11 a.m. Pre-sale tickets through promoter LiveNation are available starting Wednesday at 10 a.m., according to Ticketmaster.

Phase one of the “Starboy” tour, which concluded last Friday, featured San Jose as its only Northern California stop. The “Starboy” album debuted at No. 1 upon its release last November and has gone two-time platinum.

The Weeknd’s previous album, “Beauty Behind the Madness,” earned two Grammy Awards and featured hits “The Hills,” “Can’t Feel My Face” and “Earned It,” which received an Academy Award nomination for appearing in “Fifty Shades of Gray.”

More information is available on the artist’s website.
