Lady Gaga won’t be able to rock in Rio.

The pop singer had to withdraw from the Rock in Rio music festival, which begins Friday in Brazil. She said on Twitter that she has been admitted to a hospital due to “severe pain” and she has to “take care of my body right now.”

Lady Gaga also posted a photo on Instagram with an IV in her arm.

She appears to be genuinely upset over missing the performance, but the organizers seem to be fully supportive of her.

Lady Gaga, who performed at Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center on Aug. 15, has posted on social media that she deals with fibromyalgia and chronic pain, and hopes to raise awareness for the ailments.

She was scheduled to perform in Montreal last week but that show was postponed.

She recently told The Associated Press she’s going to take a break from music after her tour ends in December. “When this tour is over I will take a little downtime from myself, and then I’ll get back to doing what I love.”

Rock in Rio began in 1985 and has toured a total of four cities over nonconsecutive years. This year’s show in Rio de Janeiro runs until Sept. 24 and features seven headliners, including Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses, Justin Timberlake and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
