One family got quite a thrill at Friday’s Luke Bryan concert in Wheatland.
The country star brought Pioneer resident Beatriz Baron’s 1-year-old son Riley onto the Toyota Amphitheatre stage, bringing laughter and joy to the crowd.
The concert was a family affair for them – with Baron, her daughter Gabriella, son Riley and their dad attending, Baron told The Sacramento Bee. They’re all big fans of Bryan.
The family was in the second row and Bryan walked by as Baron was holding up Riley. Riley caught the singer’s eye and he said something along the lines of “Hey, let me see that baby,” Baron told The Bee.

“I went up closer to him and the guard gave him to Luke,” she said.
While Riley cried for most of his time on stage, the crowd ate it up and Bryan joked about it.
“He’s really pissed off right now,” Bryan said, holding the microphone up to crying Riley. He then hands the baby back to his family.
“That’s the best part about babies is you can give ’em back,” he joked. “... I can get y’all a sitter.”
The jokes prompted plenty of laughter and added a personal dimension to the concert.
“I couldn’t even express how I felt,” Baron said. “The fact that we are such big fans of Luke Bryan and him holding our baby and bringing (him) up on stage was just amazing!
“And when Luke Bryan gave him a kiss, it was just so cute and I couldn’t believe it! My daughter was a little jealous but she was happy that it was her baby brother up there with him.”
While Riley cried on stage, the rest of the time he was having a blast – dancing and smiling, Baron said. And daughter Gabriella keeps asking to go to the concert again.
“By far one of the best nights of our lives!” Baron said on Instagram.
