The Eagles are scheduled to perform in September at Golden 1 Center, after adding six more “An Evening with the Eagles” concerts to its North American tour, which begins March 12.
The group’s current lineup – Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey – will perform Sept. 18 at the Sacramento venue, according to a Golden 1 Center news release. Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Feb. 16 through Ticketmaster.com.
Schmit, the bassist for the Eagles, is an Encina High School alum who was part of the inaugural group honored at the Sacramento Walk of Stars in 2016. Before joining the Eagles in 1977, Schmit played in folk and surf bands while growing up in Sacramento.
Other California dates on the tour include Sept. 12 and 14 at The Forum in Inglewood, Sept. 20 at AT&T Park in San Francisco and Sept. 22 at Petco Park in San Diego.
