Some big names have just been confirmed for Sacramento's upcoming Cannabis Cup concert and weed exhibition.

Cannabis Cup Central Valley will see Lil Wayne, Lauryn Hill, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross and more take the stage at Cal Expo, May 4-5, as announced Friday on the event website.

It's the first marijuana-themed event ever hosted at Cal Expo, according to the Sacramento Business Journal.

More musical acts will be announced and confirmed soon, Submerge Magazine reported. Cannabis Cup will include exhibits, seminars and "lots and lots of really good weed!" the magazine wrote.

Meanwhile, this weekend's SoCal Cannabis Cup had its permit denied by the city of San Bernardino, just days before the show. High Times CEO Adam Levin said the concert will proceed, but the cannabis exhibitions will be canceled.

Both events are sponsored by High Times. The events are 21-and-over.

Cannabis Cup Central Valley is $50 for one-day general admission and $75 for a two-day pass (for VIP: $100 for one-day; $160 for two-day).

California legalized recreational marijuana on Jan. 1.
