Hot summer, Cole World.

J. Cole will return to Sacramento on Sept. 4 to headline a Golden 1 Center concert featuring fellow rapper Young Thug. The 34-date KOD tour, announced Tuesday morning on Cole's Instagram page, kicks off in Miami and includes just five West Coast shows, all in California.

Golden 1 Center's summer lineup already included performances by popular contemporary artists like Harry Styles, Maroon Five and Sam Smith, and Shawn Mendes announced a July 2019 show on Tuesday. Seasoned artists like James Taylor, Steve Martin and Tim McGraw are also booked for June or July.

Cole last performed in Sacramento during Common's Imagine Justice concert on Capitol Mall last August. The lyrically eloquent rapper became famous when his third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, went platinum with no features.

Presale tickets go live at 10 a.m. Wednesday ahead of a general sale at the same time Saturday. Tickets range from $46 to $146 plus fees on Ticketmaster. Cole and Young Thug will also perform August 29 at Oracle Arena in Oakland.
