The Sacramento Gay Men’s Chorus celebrates its 30th anniversary with its “Holiday Spirit!” concerts running Friday through Tuesday at midtown’s First United Methodist Church (2199 J St., Sacramento). The show offers traditional songs as well as the scripted “A Gay-Mation Special,” a tribute to the holiday TV specials of the ’60s and ’70s that embroiders on the story lines of classics such as 1964’s “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and 1974’s “The Year Without Santa Claus” (with memorable Heat Miser). Shows run 8 p.m. Friday; 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday; 3 p.m. Sunday; and 8 p.m. Tuesday. Tickets are $25-$40. For more information, go to SacGayMensChorus.org.
