Sacramento’s K-ZAP (93.3 FM) radio station on Thursday, Feb. 18, will host a free pop-up concert by the Yawpers at Dimple Records.

The Denver-based rock trio late in 2015 released “American Man,” the band’s second full-length release. The group’s sound has been described as a blend of dark country, kinetic punk and acid blues with some boogie thrown in.

K-ZAP returned to the air eight months ago as a listener-supported community station.

Dimple will offer a discount on “American Man” during the hourlong concert. 5:30 p.m., 2500 16th St., Sacramento. 916-441-2500
