When Bethany Crouch announced three weeks ago she was leaving Fox40, the morning new anchor’s next move was something of a mystery.
On Friday, just days before she was to start her new job, a short press release provided details. Crouch will be a morning news anchor and reporter at KOVR CBS13 and sister station KMAX-TV CW31.
Her daily routine, starting Monday, will involve appearing on “CBS13 News This Morning,” then as as anchor and reporter for “Good Day” on CW31.
“We are very excited that Bethany chose to join our CBS and ‘Good Day’ family. Her personality, market recognition and community commitment (are) perfect complement(s) to our stations,” said Kevin Walsh, president and general manager of the two TV stations, in the written statement.

“This is a very exciting day for me,” Crouch is quoted saying in the press release. “I first saw ‘Good Day’ while visiting friends in 2006. ‘Good Day’ rocked my morning TV world. I remember thinking, ‘That’s my dream job.’ I am thrilled to join both CBS and Good Day.”
Crouch was with Fox40 for nearly 10 years. In mid-September, she fought back tears when she told viewers on air she was leaving the station, but she gave no indication what she would be doing. On Twitter, she told one curious fan that “my contract ended & after almost a decade, I decided to branch out. I’ll have news to share soon.”
