Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Paige VanZant is going from the cage to the kitchen next month as part of Food Network’s “Chopped.”
The strawweight will compete against NFL linebacker LaMarr Woodley, figure-skating darling Dorothy Hamill and top fencer Mariel Zagunis in the athlete-themed episode, according to “Chopped.” They will come face-to-face with “an exceptionally weird flavor of soda and a cheesy dish” in one of the rounds, according to the Food Network blog.
The winner of the “Culinary Muscle” episode will move on to compete against three champions from other episodes for the title of “Chopped” champion and $50,000 for charity. VanZant’s chosen charity is Cancer Train.
