Viewers who paid close attention to Wednesday night’s episode of the ‘Jeopardy!’ game show The Fresno Bee and our sister paper, The Sacramento Bee, got some trivia love on the game show’s legendary wall of blue screens.

The mention came during the second round of show, referred to as “Double Jeopardy,” under the category of “Newspapers.” The answer, worth $400, was “BUZZ IN IF YOU KNOW IT’S THE NAME SHARED BY FRESNO’S & SACRAMENTO’S MAIN NEWSPAPERS.”

Contestant Marcy Lehman, a senior business systems analyst from Marion, Iowa, correctly responded: “What is the Bee?”

Unfortunately, the correct response didn’t pave the way to victory for Lehman, who finished the game with $2,500. She lost to New York City investment banking analyst John Giambrone, who finished the game with $19,601.

Despite Lehman’s loss, Weird Al Yankovic would be proud.
