Hot-water-tank issues have closed Biba Ristorante Italiano for a few days, according to the restaurant’s manager.
On Wednesday morning, “we found ourselves without hot water,” Scott Smith wrote by e-mail. A plumber quickly figured out the tank had stopped working, Smith said.
He said he is hoping the restaurant can reopen Saturday night, “if all goes well with the work” to replace the tank. “It requires a crane truck to hoist the unit to the roof.”
Staff members were notified, and calls made to cancel Wednesday-Friday reservations, Smith said.
