The third annual Yountville Live extravaganza offers an a la carte smorgasbord of events for gastronomes, oenophiles and musicophiles. That means plenty of upscale food, wine, live acts and much more.
The four-day fest – March 16-19 – will include wine and beer tastings, wine-pairing dinners, hands-on cooking demonstrations and master classes orchestrated by celebrity chefs, a cocktail throw-down and musical performances by Five for Fighting, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Johnnyswim, SafetySuit and others.
Among the chefs cooking for the opening-night four-course dinner will be Mathew Peters and Harrison Turone, part of the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group Team USA that took the gold medal in the recent Bocuse d’Or culinary competition in Lyon, France. That’s like winning Olympic gold.
