Can there be enough chocolate? Licensed architect-turned-chocolatier Becki DeKoning Tyner, owner of Chocolate Architect, know the answer, which is “no!”
The chocolate shop offers a wide range of goodies made with “chocolate silk” in dark, milk, semi-sweet and a “cake batter” white chocolate. “Silk” is the smooth, rich, ganache-like chocolate she uses as the base for a long menu of goodies, which include almond rococo, caramel-pecan, orange, hot chile-lime and about 20 others, from a seasonally rotating menu of about 70. “It’s a continuing evolution and great fun,” she said.
Join her for the store’s official grand opening and debut of its wine bar-patio Friday through Sunday. On the menu will be roll-back prices, a raffle and other specials, with the main celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
