The Roseville location of Zocalo restaurant suffered a small fire Wednesday morning which forced a shut down of the popular eatery. The good news for fans of Mexican food in the ‘burbs is that the fire caused minimal damage and Zocalo will re-open today at 4 p.m. The fire started in the attic but was extinguished fairly quickly by fire engine and ladder crews from Roseville and Rocklin. No injuries were reported.
As a way of showing thanks, Zocalo’s Roseville location is offering a “code 3” jalapeno margarita this weekend in which proceeds will benefit Roseville Firefighters Local 1592 charities.
