Sacramento gets a ‘go-there’ mention in British fashion magazine

How cool is Sacramento in certain corners of the world? Very, to judge by the item in the “Week In, Week Out” travel feature in the current issue of Grazia magazine (that’s Italian for “grace”).

Sacramento attorney John Poswall and his wife, former caterer (Food for Thought) Peg Tomlinson-Poswall, were recently in London when they came across the British edition of the Italian women’s magazine and saw the mention of River City.

Tomlinson-Poswall posted the magazine blurb on her Facebook page: “Planning a trip to California? Why not add Sacramento to your itinerary? It’s scoring a reputation as a cheaper, more cutting-edge alternative to San Francisco, thanks to an array of hotel launches and its exciting foodie scene. Go for Bacon Fest (January), Beer Week (March) or even BLT Fest (yes, really) in July.”

Molte grazie, Grazia.
