The timing couldn’t be any better: The Lodi Wine & Chocolate Weekend is Saturday (Feb. 13) and Sunday (Feb. 14) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – perfect for those looking to combine an inspired tasting experience with a terrific Valentine’s Day outing.
The 19th annual event will feature 50 Lodi wineries and an abundance of chocolate treats, both sweet and savory, to pair with numerous wine styles.
Tickets are $55 in advance or $65 on the day of. Designated drivers are admitted free. Deadline for online purchases is 11:59 p.m. Feb. 12, so act quickly. If you couldn’t buy a ticket ahead of time, you can do so on Saturday or Sunday when you visit any of the wineries.
To see a list of the participating wineries, click here. The Lodi Wine & Chocolate Weekend is a like a mini road trip or tour. Pick whatever wineries or tasting rooms you want to visit and dig in for a tasting of wines paired with chocolates. It goes without saying that designated drivers are strongly encouraged. They will not be served wine, of course, but they will be permitted to taste the chocolate treats at each of the wineries.
