IKEA, the global Swedish home-furnishings chain, has a best-kept secret: Its in-house restaurants serve some pretty good food at bargain prices.
Expanding on that theme, the West Sacramento store will host a pre-Easter smorgasbord from 6 to 8 p.m. March 18. Don’t be shy at the all-you-care-to-eat spread, with marinated, smoked and poached salmon; cheeses, salads and crispbread; Swedish meatballs, ham, link sausages and potato casserole; and a bakery’s worth of desserts.
Buy tickets at the store, 700 Ikea Court, West Sacramento (at the Reed Avenue exit off Interstate 80), $17 adults, $5 ages 12 and younger; 916-371-4532 or www.ikea.com.
