Just when you thought St. Pat’s Day was over and done with till next year, award-winning chef Evan Elsberry is preparing his third annual “St. Paddy’s Day Pick Your Poison Beer OR Wine Dinner,” to be served at 6 tonight.
The feast will be at Evan’s Kitchen, 855 57th St. (Antiques Row), Sacramento. The toll is $80; reservations at 916-452-3896.
Diners can choose beer or wine with each course:
First course: Tartlets of blue cheese and smoked ham. Choose Robert Mondavi fume blanc or Hermitage “Citra” single hop IPA.

Second: Bacon, beet and spinach salad. Meiomi pinot noir or Hermitage “Hoptopia” IPA
Third: Corned beef hash “my way.” Ravenswood Old Vine zinfandel or Hermitage “Maltopia” Wee Heavy Scotch ale
Fourth: Guinness-glazed pork shank on Colcannon potatoes. Estancia GSM or Hermitage “2 Tun” stout
Dessert: Chocolate stout cake with Irish coffee
