Long story made short: Viki Sater’s daughters asked her to make their favorite treat, homemade granola, for their school’s fundraiser. Mom whipped up her “signature original honey” and took it to school. It quickly sold out and soon local demand for it became relentless.
Which led the Long Island businesswoman to set up Viki’s Granola company, offering five flavors of chewy-crunchy granola that are “gluten-free, sodium-free, dairy-free, non-GMO, with no preservatives and no added sugars.”
Two things it does have are flavor and texture. We taste-tested all the flavors – original honey, blueberry-almond, apple-cinnamon, maple cranberry and banana walnut. They’re especially good over yogurt.
