Time’s running out for you lovelorn folks who still need to book a table for Valentine’s Day. Reservations are at a premium this year with Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday, and some restaurants are sharing the love with menu specials that last all weekend. In Sunday’s edition of Feast, we ran down some best local bets to grab a bite while in target distance of Cupid’s arrow. Learn them, live them, love them - and then get on the horn or your handiest online reservation system to ensure you won’t be scrambling around with a grumpy and hungry date on Saturday.

And here’s one more tip for wooing your favorite local food enthusiast. Whitney Johnson, the much in-demand restaurant interior designer behind Shady Lady, Hook & Ladder and other hot spots, is taking orders for flower arrangements. A medium bouquet costs $45, and a large bouquet with six confections from Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates costs $85. Flowers will be delivered with a handwritten note on Thursday or Friday, or Saturday with a $20 surcharge.

But you have to move fast. Tuesday is the deadline to order flowers.
