Farm to Fork week will kick off with FoodStock 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14 at Raley Field, 400 Ballpark Drive, West Sacramento. The music/food event will feature soul hits from 1969 to 2014 by MindX and Wonder Bread 5. On the menu: Pig roast prepared by Mulvaney's B&L. Tickets are $40 per person, $20 children 12 and under. Visit the food bank site. The food bank has been serving families in need since 1976. With a staff of 45 and a volunteer corps of 5,800, the mission is to alleviate problems and move the men, women and children toward self-sufficiency and financial independence.
