Folsom gets second Habit Burger as chain expands in Sacramento region. Here’s where
Those hooked on Habit Burger & Grill now have another place to get their fix of the popular chain.
The burger franchise opened a new location at the Shops in Folsom Ranch on Wednesday, according Josh Rupert of Bay Area-based real estate group Hunter Properties. That means that Folsom now boasts two Habit Burgers about 4 miles apart, with the new location at East Bidwell Street and Alder Creek Parkway yet to appear on the company’s map of restaurants.
The chain was founded in Santa Barbara in 1969, according to the company’s website, and currently has more than a dozen franchise restaurants in the capital region.
A spokesperson for the company, Kathy Kwon, said that the company has another restaurant location in the Sacramento area that they expect to open in the fourth quarter, which typically runs Oct. 1-Dec. 31. Kwon said there was no more information she could offer on that opening Tuesday.
Rupert said that all restaurants in the new shopping development south of Highway 50 are now open. This includes Bento Box, Slice House, Capriottis and Starbucks.
