The last two of the original 24 homes remain available for sale at Huntington Sierra Oaks by Generation Homes, the new gated neighborhood off Munroe Street south of Fair Oaks Boulevard.

The remaining homes will be completed in September and are the popular 1,581-square-foot Willow plan with two bedrooms, a loft, two-and-a-half baths, island kitchen and a two-car garage, according to Tony Zogopoulos, a partner in Generation Homes.

The prices start at $514,950 and each of the homes includes upgrades valued at more than $8,000.

The rapid pace of sales at the new community reflects both the improving local real estate market and an uptick in the number of millennials and younger couples who are interested in the neighborhood with and urban vibe in a location that is more comfortable and convenient.

“Some of the region’s best restaurants, shopping, parks, Rio del Oro Racquet Club and public transit are within walking distance,” said Zogopoulos.

Huntington Sierra Oaks features a prestigious gated entry and a location accessible by bicycle or public transit with easy access to public parks, highly rated schools, Sacramento State and the American River Parkway.

The new homes at Huntington Sierra Oaks include standard features such as granite countertops, recessed panel cabinets, GE appliances with an elegant slate finish, thoughtfully planned interiors and elegant master suites.

The architectural styles and color palettes are a blend of Italianate and Spanish architecture, with flat-tile roofs and materials matching those used in neighboring Sierra Oaks homes to create a unique look that balances with the neighborhood.

Each home is a SMUD Smart Home, featuring energy-saving systems like a solar-ready electrical service panel, tankless water heater and high-efficiency heating and air conditioning designed to help save the environment and money on the electric bill every month. Generation Homes worked directly with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District to implement these advanced energy efficiency measures into the homes.

Huntington Sierra Oaks is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment. For more information, call (916) 742-2616 or visit online at http://www.mygenhome.com/.
