A McDonald’s billboard in New Mexico has attracted notice far beyond its location.

A photo of the billboard near Raton shared by KRQE has gone viral.

What’s attracting so much attention? These words: “Usually when you roll something this good, it’s illegal,” alongside a photo of a green chile breakfast burrito.

It appears to tap into the marijuana-legalization debate, particularly with its placement along the New Mexico-Colorado state line, KRQE reports.

New Mexico has not legalized recreational marijuana, while Colorado was among the first states to do so.

California voted in favor of Proposition 64 in November, allowing adults 21 and over to possess up to an ounce of marijuana and cultivate up to six plants indoors. In about six months, pot stores licensed by the state will begin selling marijuana to adults.

What does this mean for California workers? Here’s a breakdown.
