ROSEVILLE - Delta breezes have delayed until Wednesday ground spraying that was scheduled today, officials said Monday.
The spraying, designed to halt the spread of the deadly West Nile virus, will continue Thursday and Friday, said the Placer Mosquito Abatement District. Trucks will spray from 1 to 4 a.m.
The county has had 10 confirmed human cases of West Nile virus.
Residents who do not want their property sprayed should e-mail the district at email@example.com or call (916) 435-2140.
