DAVIS - In an effort to minimize the spread of West Nile virus by reducing breeding spots for mosquitoes, Davis city officials have established a hotline to report hazards that could attract mosquitoes.
The hotline - at (530) 757-5633 - will allow residents to more easily report standing pools of water or other conditions that could breed mosquitoes and spread the virus, according to a city press release.
