If you visit San Francisco often, or are taking friends or family to the city for several days of sightseeing, it pays to invest in CityPass. A booklet of coupons for admissions to museums and attractions, CityPass is priced at $33.75 general, $26.75 for seniors and $24.75 for youths 5-17. Included is a seven-day Muni transportation pass (good on cable cars, too); a Blue & Gold Fleet cruise in San Francisco Bay; admission to four major museums and discounts at Pier 39 attractions. The Bay cruise can be swapped for an Alcatraz tour if CityPass is purchased in advance from the ferry operator by calling (415) 705-5555. Otherwise, CityPass is available from participating museums or the San Francisco Visitor Information Center at Hallidie Plaza, lower level, at the corner of Market and Powell streets.
CityPass also is available for New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Seattle, Hollywood and Chicago. For more information: (707) 256-0490 or www.citypass.com.
