Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex

With over 35,000 acres of wetlands, the Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge Complex attracts more than 300 species of birds and mammals including swans, pelicans, egrets, coyotes and black-tailed deer.

It is a travel destination for nature photographers and birdwatchers, hikers and campers. The best viewing months are November and December.
