1. REDISTRICTING PROPOSAL VO/SOT
Assembly Republican Leader Mike Villines will discuss his proposal for changing the manner in which legislative districts are drawn. Villines maintains his plan is the only proposal that is independent of legislative involvement. There are several other proposals in the legislature and being circulated for signatures for redistricting. Efforting soundbites and video.
2. DOG PROTEST VO/SOT
Dog owners will commemorate the anniversary of a breed specific spay and neuter bill and protest the current spay neuter bill that is expected to be voted on in the Assembly this week requiring all dog and cat owners with a few exceptions to spay and neuter their pets by the time they are four months old. 3. AIR FORCE FLY OVER VO/SOT
The United States Air Force will commemorate its 60th anniversary with a fly over of air craft at the State Capitol and performances by the Air Force band. Lieutenant Governor John Garamendi is scheduled to attend. Efforting soundbites and video.
4. ALLENSWORTH STATE PARK VO/SOT
The Assembly this morning will vote on a bill that will require a larger buffer zone for a 12 thousand cow dairy than the proposed one thousand feet around Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park in Tulare County. The Legislative Black Caucus has sponsored the measure in what it calls an effort to protect this historic African American landmark in the state. Efforting soundbites and video.

Water Resources Grants - The Department of Water Resources will conduct a public workshop on Proposition 50 funds for water treatment and conservation projects.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is in Los Angeles for a dedication at the University of California Los Angeles Medical Center.
