The Center for Public Integrity has released a survey ranking and comparing the level of disclosure for the personal financial information for governors of all 50 states. California ranked 12th, and was given a grade of "C."
Washington was the only state to receive an "A."
Here's California's gubernatorial disclosure report card.
Perhaps more interesting, the center also compiles - and posts online - the statements of economic interest for all of California's statewide elected officials and lawmakers.
The center has got it all.
Previously, the economic disclosure forms had only been available in paper form from the Fair Political Practices Commission. A permanent link has been added in Capitol Alert's Campaign Finance links section.
