1. WATER BRIEFING VO/SOT

Assembly Democrats are discussing their proposal for increasing the water supply in the state and rehabilitating the ecosystem of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. Religious leaders and patients who are terminally ill will announce what they call an "Aid in Dying Ministry." The program will help terminal patients receive hospice care, pain treatment and other end of life care. Gay Marriage Rallies Gay rights organizations are promoting several rallies throughout California to urge Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to sign a bill on his desk that would legalize same sex marriage.

Sierra Fire Safety A group called the Sierra Nevada Alliance will present its findings for fire safe growth, following the Tahoe area wildfire earlier this year.
