VO: (:25) 55 PERCENT OF THE VOTERS SURVEYED SAY THEY ARE PAYING CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE LEGISLATURE'S SPECIAL SESSION ON HEALTHCARE REFORM. 63 PERCENT OF LIKELY VOTERS LIKE THE GOVERNOR'S PLAN THAT INCLUDES MANDATORY HEALTH INSURANCE FUNDED BY FEES ON DOCTORS, HOSPITALS AND EMPLOYERS, WHILE 47 PERCENT LIKE THE PLAN APPROVED BY DEMOCRATS CALLING FOR EMPLOYERS TO PAY A GREATER AMOUNT OF FEES TO COVER WORKING CALIFORNIANS. 2000 CALIFORNIANS, MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND OF THEM LIKELY VOTERS, WERE SURVEYED FOLLOWING THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND.
