1. CAPITOL CHRISTMAS TREE ARRIVES VO/SOT
The Christmas tree that will adorn the west lawn of the State Capitol arrives today under Highway Patrol escort. The tree is a 55 foot white fir from Camino (Sierra foothills east of Sacramento). The lighting ceremony is set for December 4th. Efforting soundbites and video.
2. PSYCHOLOGISTS IN DISASTER AREAS VO/SOT
The California Board of Psychology will discuss the response of psychologists to disaster areas. Psychologists have been requested to provide pro bono services to those residents of San Diego County and Southern California. Efforting soundbites and video.
3. FLOOD SEASON BEGINS VO/SOT
As the flood season begins officially in California, the Department of Water Resources will brief the Board of Reclamation on the status of levee evaluations, and the Sierra snow pack which is 40 percent of normal, and nearing drought conditions. Efforting soundbites and video.

LEGISLATURE'S SCHEDULE
The Senate and Assembly have adjourned for the regular 2007 session. The special session for health care and water are ongoing, with the deadline for a water bond to be placed on the February 2008 ballot this Saturday. The 2008 session convenes January 7th.
