Fall Veteran Mini-Job Fair

Trunk-or-Treat festival

ATWATER – The first Baptist Church of Atwater will hold a Trunk-or-Treat Harvest Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31 at the church, 1683 Fifth St. There will be games, prizes, bounce houses and treats. Call (209) 358-3545, ext. 301.

Master Gardeners Program

The University of California Cooperative Extension Merced County Master Gardeners Program is taking applications for the 2014 Master Gardeners Volunteer Training Course. Livingston Halloween Fun-Fest

LIVINGSTON – Livingston Self Storage will hold its Halloween Fun-Fest from 3 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 31 at 2370 Walnut Ave. Dress up, decorate a pumpkin and take it home, and enjoy face painting, a coloring station and refreshments. Chapel holding Harvest Festival

ATWATER – The Valley Christian Chapel will host a Harvest Festival from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31 at 1201 Cedar Ave. Free food, games, Trunk and Treat and hay rides. A donation of a can of food is being asked for to help families in need in our community.

Kamangar Center Anniversary

The historic Merced Theatre will celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Art Kamangar Center with a special on Pick-A-Brick and Take-A-Seat program now through Dec. 1. Engraved bricks will be installed in the sidewalk on Martin Luther King Way next to the theater, and auditorium seats will have an individualized brass nameplate on the seat arm.
