Downtown Pub Crawl tonight
Downtown Life Magazine is scheduled to hold its inaugural Restaurant and Pub Crawl from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight in downtown Merced. The event is a food and drink lovers’ tour of downtown restaurants and bars.
During the event, participants pay and receive a passport granting them access to taste and sample signature dishes and drinks from more than a dozen restaurants and pubs. Attendees will receive a ticket that will be redeemed for a passport the day of the event in Bob Hart Square. The passports will be stamped at each destination on the crawl map. The cost is $20 per person, $68 for a group (four passports).
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Playhouse Merced and the Merced County Arts Council. For more information, visit the group’s Facebook page.

Music at the Merced Arts Council
Live music featuring the band “Slumgum” is scheduled to kick off 8 p.m. Friday at the Merced Arts Center’s Black Box Theater, loctaed at 645 W. Main St. in downtown Merced. Mariachi singer Beatriz Adriana is scheduled to take the stage at the Merced Theatre at 5 p.m. Sunday. Also scheduled to perform is the group Los Freddys. Tickets are $25-$35. Merced Symphony with Tara Kamangar
The Merced Symphony are scheduled to perform their Annual Fall Concert: Grieg and Tchaikovsky with renowned pianist Tara Kamangar at the Merced Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2.
