Christmas music

Sunny 102.3 has announced the launch of its Christmas music programming, featuring holiday favorites around the clock now through Dec. 23. To get in the holiday spirit, Sunny 102.3 will play nothing but familiar holiday favorites.

Christmas lunch

Merced Senior Social Club will host a Christmas lunch catered by BBQ Pit, on Dec. 13, at 755 W. 15th St. Last day to buy tickets is Dec. 6. $5 for members. Please call (209) 383-6067 for more information.

Merced SPCA Christmas home tours

Four beautifully decorated homes and Vista Ranch and Cellars will be on the Merced Society for PCA’s annual Christmas tour of homes 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 8. A lunch, gift baskets and valuable raffle prizes including a bicycle, diamond necklace and an original watercolor painting will be available for purchase at Vista Ranch. Tickets cost $15 and can be obtained in Merced at Maciel & Co. in the Merced Mall, Christina’s Fine Clothing in the Bear Creek Galleria, and in Atwater at Expressions of Love Floral. Christmas Craft Show

A Christmas Craft Show sponsored by Soroptimist is scheduled 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 6, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Mariposa Fairgrounds on Fairgrounds Drive. More than 85 local crafters will be showing off their art and handcrafted items in three buildings.

Stroke Support Group

A Stroke Support Group is open to anyone that has survived a stroke. Family, friends and caregivers are welcome 4 to 5:30 p.m. the second Thursday of every month at the Mercy Medical Pavilion, third floor, Classroom A, at 315 Mercy Ave., Merced. Christmas Open House at the Courthouse Museum

A Christmas Open House at the Courthouse Museum is scheduled to be held 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, at 21st and N streets in Merced. The historic building’s halls have been decked and rooms filled with close to 70 Christmas trees. Treats and traditional Courthouse eggnog will be served. Live entertainment will be performed by the Golden Valley High School Holiday Ensemble, Retired Teachers Chorus, OLM Christmas Choir, St. Paul Children’s Choir, Caitlin’s Suzuki Violin Studio and Harmony Valley Chorus.
