A male pedestrian in his 30s was killed around 5:50 p.m. Sunday after being struck by two vehicles on Santa Fe Drive, just east of Beachwood Drive, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The identity of the victim has not been released. Details about the case are preliminary.
Sgt. Mike Trenholm said the victim was in the eastbound No. 1 lane of Santa Fe Drive when he was struck by a black Dodge pickup truck. The victim was then struck by the second vehicle – a silver Toyota Camry.
Both vehicles stopped after hitting the pedestrian.

Merced County Sheriff's deputies were first to arrive at the incident, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Trenholm said the drivers were not intoxicated.
The crash remains under investigation.
Santa Fe Drive between Beachwood Drive and Highway 59 was closed by CHP after the incident.
