One man was killed in a shooting and two others were injured in Winton on Monday evening.
Details about the shooting were preliminary, and no suspects had been taken into custody Monday night. The motive remains under investigation.
The shooting was reported around 6:45 p.m. at a home in the 6600 block of Golden Bobcat Court, Merced County Sheriff’s Department deputies said.
The two shooting victims were described as a 26-year-old man, who died, and a 45-year-old man. Both victims were flown to hospitals.

Deputies said a third person with undetermined injuries also was taken to hospital. The third person was not shot.
