Fleet-footed ballerinas, hip-shaking hula performers and veil-wearing belly dancers, among others, showed off their best moves Saturday at Merced College.
Dance Kaleidoscope has been around for more than 20 years and is an annual tradition. It features dancers from some of the area’s best-known dance studios.
The show included performers of all kinds and ages, from children to adults, expressing themselves in hip-hop, ballet, tap, swing and several other kinds of dance.
The costumes ranged from tutus, dresses and sparkly shirts and grass skirts, accessorized with coin belts and skeleton masks.
