Today

St. Anthony’s School hosts its annual casino night fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. at the APC Hall, 1420 Third St., Atwater. The evening will include a silent and live auction, a catered dinner and a variety of casino-style games, including blackjack, roulette and poker. Tickets are $30 each. All proceeds benefit the operation of St. Anthony’s School. For tickets or more information, call (209) 358-3341.

“Shrek: The Musical” is on stage on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through March 16 at Playhouse Merced, 452 W. Main St. For more information, visit www.playhousemerced.com.

The Merced Flea and Farmers Market runs every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. behind the fairgrounds, 900 G St. EBT is accepted.

Monday

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Monday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Ave., Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99. Lots of vendors on site.

Tuesday

Le Grand Certified Farmers Market runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays on Washington Street and Le Grand Road, next to Pizza Factory.

Wednesday

Merced County Certified Farmers Market is every Wednesday at the Promenade Shopping Center on the corner of Yosemite and Paulson avenues, Merced. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon.

Buhach Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4814 Clover Ave., Atwater. Take the Buhach Exit off Highway 99. There will be lots of vendors on site.

8-ball competition every Wednesday night at R-Bar, 1603 V St., Merced. Sign-ups at 6 p.m., game starts at 7. Twenty players only, $5 buy-in.

Jam session from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St., Merced. There is no cover charge. You must be at least 21 years old to enter.

Friday

Flashback performs at the Star Club, 1331 W. Main St., Merced, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There is no cover charge. You must be at least 21 years old to enter.
