One of Merced College’s most popular programs, College for Kids, is accepting registrations for the summer program beginning April 1.
Arranged in three sessions, the classes and programs offered to area children include aquatics, arts, sports, cooking, math, science and language arts, according to a Merced College press release.
College for Kids is designed for students going into the fourth grade through eighth grade. Parents should check the descriptions of individual classes as some are geared for children as young as second grade. Ages vary for the aquatics program and sports camps.
The first session begins on June 16. College for Kids enrichment classes are $60-$65 per class. Aquatics classes are $55 per class. Fees for individual sports camps vary. Registration covers all class and camp enrollment fees. It does not cover the cost of snacks, meals, or other related expenses, the release said.
