Merced County Fair offers 5-pack ticket package

Buy a five-pack of Merced County Fair general admission tickets for just $16.

That’s just $3.20 per ticket.

The pack of five tickets can be used in any combination, by one or more people, one at a time or all at once, according to a Merced County Fair news release.

The special ticket package is valued at $25, but it will be sold for $16 for this month only. In May, the 5-pack price will be $18. In June, the five-pack will be available for $20 through June 10, the day before the fair starts.

Tickets will be sold at and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays through June 10 at the Merced County Fair office, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Tickets will also be sold from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. beginning June 1 at Rancho San Miguel Market, 1930 Yosemite Park Way. All sales are cash or credit card only.

When you buy the five-pack ticket packages, purchase the advance all-day-ride Butler Amusements carnival discount coupons. Pay-one-price coupons cost $23. Coupons can be exchanged for an unlimited ride wrist wrap for one day of unlimited rides, all day, any day of the fair.

During the fair, pay-one-price wrist wraps will cost $30 each. Buy the carnival discount coupons now and save almost 25 percent, the release said.

Admission to the fair is $5 for everyone 6 years and older. Children younger than 6 get in for free. Seniors who are 65 and older get in free on opening day, June 11. Mercy Medical Center Seniors’ Day and Kids’ Day is June 12, when all seniors and children 12 years and younger get in free.

Outdoor Theatre entertainment is included in the general admission ticket price. Each night a headline entertainment act will perform in the theater, presented by Table Mountain Casino and Modelo Especial.

There will be a separate $5 admission charge for grandstand entertainment. On opening day, , there will be a special grandstand admission promotion. Fairgoers can get a free admission ticket to the auto races when they donate two or more cans of food per person to the Merced County Food Bank. Upon entering the fairgrounds with paid general admission, fairgoers will give Food Bank volunteers the canned food and receive their vouchers for free admission to the auto races.
